Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic vs Network Care:
When I first opened private practice in 1994 I used a combination of Network and chiropractic adjustments. I found over the years that, while chiropractic was very effective, clients who recieved strait Network Care had much more profound and life changing results. I also noticed that people developed patterns and would recreate the same misalignments. Naturally, in the face of such results, I recommend that clients recieve Network entrainments rather than chiropractic adjustments. On a personal note, I have not had a traditional chiropractic adjustment in several years. I've included some information below. --Dr. Gene
What is Chiropractic?
The purpose of chiropractic is to keep the bones of the spine in their proper relationships with each other, to allow the body to perform at its maximum potential. The bones of the spine protect the spinal cord, which is the brain's control pathway to organs, glands and all other body parts. It has been shown that tiny misalignments of spinal bones, called vertebral subluxations, can interfere with normal nerve impulses to and from the brain, affecting all body functions. Chiropractic is not a treatment for any condition or disease. It is to keep you free of subluxations.
How do we get subluxations?
Almost any fall or accident could cause subluxations. So could poor posture, physical or emotional stress, or any one of a dozen other things.
Are subluxations painful?
Some vertebral subluxations may produce pain or muscle spasms but most do not; therefore you may not even know you are subluxated.
How does a Chiropractor correct vertebral subluxations?
Normally the body corrects subluxations but sometimes the subluxation interferes with the nerve impulses to the very muscles that should be correcting the problem. A Chiropractor thrusts gently upon specific bones of the spine to assist the body in making this correction. This is called an Adjustment. A proper Chiropractic Adjustment is safe, gentle, and does not hurt.
